My photo is far from Pinterest or Instagram worthy as it shows the aftermath of my kale salad. The reason I’m commemorating this meal with a photo and blog entry is because it’s the first time I’m making decisions based on Plan foods AT A RESTAURANT.
Usually I eat something very tasty and loaded with foods I know will upset my stomach or else I pick something that I “think” is healthy. After perusing the burgers and country fried steak and cheese plates (all my former favorites), I choose the kale butternut squash salad with pumpkin seeds and my protein is grilled chicken.
Whaaaaat? I would have never ordered this combination before. I’ve ordered kale plenty but I would usually opt for no protein or salmon. Although I never officially tested salmon, I suspect I’m in the 85% reactive for my beloved seafood.
And just like magic, my stomach doesn’t hurt after dinner like it usually does after a restaurant meal! I think we’re onto something 😊
Plus my two glasses of Sean Minor Pinot Noir are half off at Reid’s Fine Foods on Wednesday so that’s a bonus! Red wine is plan approved 👏👏
